Carol passed June 30, 2007 in Manhattan.  Her too brief life was full of achievements which will not surprise those who knew her.  After graduating with honors from Weslyan she received several graduate degrees.  Taught economics and worked in the financial industry becoming Vice President of GenRe securities.  Somehow she found the time to become a Life Master bridge player and was a member of the Manhattan Bridge club.  She is survived by her daughter Laura Rostad.
